Smells
heady aromas of blackcurrant buds, bitter chocolate, cedar, spice, toast and with a chalky, complexing vein.
Tastes
a ripe Cabernet expression but a wine that still has intense aromas and flavours of the variety. Intense cassis flavours with a long, linear structure, typical to Cabernet, dusty, chalky tannins, balanced by salivating acidity, drawing out the palate and making for a seamless finish. Great drinking now through 2028 and perfect when partnered with a char-grilled steak.
