Description
Molinico Loco is the affectionate name of the windmill situated in the ancient vineyards of Yecla, South-East Spain. A perfect site for growing and ripen Monastrell (Mourvedre in French), with over 3000 hours of sunshine every year. A blend of 85% Monastrell and 15% Syrah, hand picked and made in a fresh and fruity, modern style.
Smells
Ripe aromas of baked dark fruits, dark chocolate, prunes and dark spices leap from the glass.
Tastes
This variety is all about rustic flavours and robust tannins, being made in a modern manner, the flavours still have a meaty and savoury vein but dark stewed fruits persist. The tannins are firm but in balance to the plush fruit. Great for those who love full, bodied and fruity wines. The ideal bbq wine where large hunks of meat are on the menu.
