Description
With a strong history of Gold Medals on the International Wine Show circuit, El Goru (or the Outcast) offers incredible value for money! Coming from a completely organic estate in Jumilla, one of the oldest wine regions in Spain, this rich blend of Monastrell, Syrah and Petit Verdot not only looks the part, it tastes it as well. The grapes were hand harvested before undergoing a long, controlled fermentation. Finally, the grapes spent four months in American oak to add toasty nuances while maintaining the fruits vibrancy.
Smells
Hedonistic aromas of boysenberry, cranberry, plum, vanilla and toasty oak.
Tastes
Very assertive fruit combines with the toasty oak to create a well-balanced and flavourful wine. Rich red berries, with hints of leather and spice. Ripe tannins guarantee great mouthfeel leading to a long finish. Drink now or until 2024. Enjoy with rich red meat dishes or a vegan paella for that Spanish feel!
