Description

While the Perrin family make some of the most expensive red wines in the world off their famous Chateau de Beaucastel in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, they are better known in New Zealand for selling supremely pleasurable and good value wines like La Vieille Ferme (the old farm). A blend of Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, a juicy, fresh, and crunchy red with character to burn. Highly versatile with food or without, it can even be enjoyed with a light chill on warmer nights.

Smells

Playful florals, raspberry, blackberry, and spice.

Tastes

Juicy, fresh, and lightly spicy with plenty of flesh on its bones and a fine tannic grip to keep your full attention. Great with casual BBQ and alfresco dining, or just on its own with a few tall stories.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
