Description
We love the label, funky and cool with lots of millennial appeal, this Argentinian Malbec is a combination of grapes from the Lujan and Uco Valley with a huge, fruit expression. Aged in 70% concrete tank and 30% in seasoned French oak, this is totally understandable as the fruit concentration and power means there is little need for oak. Smells
heady aromas of blueberry compote, milk and dark chocolate with spiced fruit cake notes, underlining a red fruit vein.
Tastes
the colour alone is impressive, and where the pure fruit expression knocks your socks off. This is about power and purity with a robust structure; a densely packed core of fruit with chewy, grainy tannins balancing the concentrated fruit, giving longevity and drinkability. No rush to drink this beast, but if you cannot resist, decant an hour or so prior to serving. This baby is meant for a serious ribeye.
