Description

Mentor Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 is named after Peter Lehmann, who mentored so many young winemakers in his lifetime in the Barossa. Mentor is an expression of the oldest vine Cabernet, cropped very low and aged in French oak... it is always the absolute expression of quality and varietal integrity of the Barossa. 2014 was an outstanding vintage expected to cellar 20-years.

Smells

Chocolate over top of cassis, mint, violet, leather and pencil shavings.

Tastes

Deep, dark and brooding with big, firm tannins, this wine has pure blackcurrant flavours that carry the spicy finish. Enjoy through 2034+.
