Description

The Giesen 2019 Organic Pinot was outrageously good, and this 2021 is following hotly in its footsteps. If you didn’t buy any of the 19, don’t delay, grab a few bottles of their latest release, it’s a serious Pinot, oh and it's Organic, good for the planet, and good for you. Considering the quality within, the price is outstanding especially since this wine offers good ageing potential, as well as superb drinking now.

Smells

deep, dark aromas of berries, cherries, spice, and toasty vanilla

Tastes

wow a Pinot of note, a seriously rich wine within, yet with the added dimension of crunch, and vibrancy all of which are complemented by the chewy tannins giving an excellent structure. A Pinot that almost suggests some Clayvin fruit or fruit from another very serious Southern Valley site. A delicious, full-bodied, robust style that many will love. Drinking well now through 2028 and will partner well with game meats, and mushroom-based cuisine.
