Description
Mike and Claire Allan craft exquisite organic wines in Marlborough, the majority of their Pinot Noir comes from the Brancott and Wairau Valley, many of the vines are in excess of 20 years old. 100% destemmed with around two weeks on skins, it's an elegant and complex style that is among the finest in the region.
Smells
A lovely dash of cedar, cardamom and sandalwood among ripe cherries and plums underpinned by a meaty complexity.
Tastes
Generous and sweetly fruited with spicy red cherries and a judicious kiss of French Oak toast, the Huia Pinot Noir is a lovely example of modern Marlborough Pinot Noir. Enjoy with game meats between now and 2027.
