Description

Maude have taken NZ by storm and rapidly become one of our most iconic, cult producers. This Mohawk Hill is a single vineyard wine from Lowburn which highlights why they are so good. This is everything you want in a Pinot and could easily be mistaken for a top quality Burgundy. Maude has four single vineyard Pinots in their collection and rarely is the Mohawk Hill seen on the shelf. If you are seeing this bottle, do not delay, buy it before someone standing by, grabs it.

Smells

hedonistic aromas of dark summer berries, black cherries, forest floor, crushed thyme and extinguished embers of a summer beach bonfire.

Tastes

silky, smooth texture with fine grain tannins, svelte like where red and black cherry flavours marry with crushed thyme and rosemary notes. In all honesty, stunning!! This will cellar for 5-8 years but it’s hard to resist. Enjoy with gamey meats or mushroom veggie dishes.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
