Hands down this latest Tom’s Block was the winner in our recent Annual Fine Wine Delivery Pinot Tasting for quality vs price, to put it simply the price to value ratio was off the charts. Scoring 96 points and with a price tag of sub $37 it is a stonking Pinot that puts all other Pinots in this price point to shame. Stock up as this is a wine that will age, but only if you can keep your hands off it, which we doubt will be possible. The only answer is to buy two cases…….

a very stylish, and concentrated Pinot Noir with layers of complexity built on top of a solid foundation of red and dark berry fruits and alluring spicy notes that capture the senses. This has it all, wonderful fruit weight and balance with moorish tannins that tickle the insides of your cheeks adding structure to this superb Pinot. There is also an enticing nutty overtone that only keeps you intrigued and wanting another sip. Will easily age 10years+ in a temperature-controlled cellar. Serve with duck, pork or other gamey meats.
