a more restrained bouquet showing whole bunch characters, spicey, cedar, herbal, crushed wet stones, and chalk dust.
Tastes
An excellently structured Marlborough Pinot with substance, and power. There is a bright core of juicy fruit, wild red berries overlayed with a herbal, crushed thyme crunch. The mouth-coating tannins, consistent with whole bunch cling to your cheeks in a sublimely seductive manner, engaging the senses on all levels. Good acid, drive and focus. An exciting style especially for the price and well handled in the winery.
