Our Tasting Panel 96/100 Review…

Enticing florals with sweet notes of strawberry, cherry, plum and subtle dried thyme. Medium-bodied with deceptive weight of flavour and a delicious vibrancy threading the layers of cherry, berry and plum. The texture has a cashmere like feel… the finish is subtly mouthwatering and seductive. Enjoy now or 3-5 years from vintage… with herb crusted chicken or thyme roasted lamb.

We have received a 112-dozen allocation of this rare 98/100 quality v price Central Otago Pinot Noir, which you can secure at just $25.99. We expect it to sell very quickly.

It will drink beautifully over the next 3-5 years. Enjoy JEFF

Description

Awarded “Best Value Pinot Noir” by Michael Cooper. But Top 3 Global Critic James Suckling says it’s elite level Pinot rating it a rarified & massive 98/100… relative to its exceptionally affordable Pinot Noir price. James says… “Gorgeous aromas of fresh flowers, ripe strawberries and tangerine blossoms. Medium-bodied with a lovely balance of fruit and acidity and a creamy texture that is open and cashmere-like in texture. Wonderful finish. A triumph. A joy to drink. Drink or hold.” The entry level ‘Mysterious Diggings’ label by Central Otago’s Terra Sancta pays homage to an early map of the region which defined a small parcel of land as having ‘Mysterious Diggings’. The map was probably referring to gold that was mined in the area at the time. These days Terra Sancta are mining their own gold… with outstanding Otago Pinot Noir. Entry level this wine may be price wise… but it’s next level in structure, weight, and complexity.
