Ever since the original release of Plainsman a few years ago, it has been growing in popularity incredibly quickly. A very approachable style, it combines judicious use of French and American oak barrels along with top quality fruit from a single vineyard in Koropiko, Hawkes Bay. The wine manages to be bursting full of flavour without being overbearing or over the top. An excellently structured Chardonnay with fruit, oak, and texture all balanced in perfect harmony.
