This 2022 is true to reputation with abundant stone & tropical fruits in a richly textured, buttery palate… right in the zone for Bogle et al lovers.
Smells
A rich, engaging bouquet of roasted peaches, hazelnuts, rock melon and yellow guava with hints of pineapple and mango with toasty oak and buttery lees nuances.
Tastes
Big, Bold, Buttery Californian Chardonnay to a tee. Unsubtle and 100% revealing of its ripe stone & tropical fruits, butter & toast lees/oak flavours and viscous, creamy texture. The acid is soft, but balance is achieved by the toasty, vanilla, buttery tinged finish, and a warming sensation that dwells. Delightfully impactful to say the least. Drinking well now with chicken, seafood, or pasta… or simply by itself.
