Description
Te Kano produces tiny quantities of their wine, even this Kin Chardonnay was made from only 10 barrels, approximately 3000 bottles, for the whole country!! That’s taking ‘small producer’ to a minuscule level. Hand-picked fruit harvested from both their Northburn and Bannockburn vineyards, whole bunch pressed, barrel fermented and matured in French oak for over 10 months.
Smells
aromas of peach skin, gala apples, white nectarines, ripe apricot, and a dash of honeysuckle with buttery, oak, and vanilla.
Tastes
Fruity, peachy, generous stone fruit flavours, a creamy vanilla and toasted oak mid-palate with crisp acid giving a lively, freshness. A wine with excellent consumer appeal to customers loving a classic Central Otago style. Drinking well now through 2024 with fresh snapper.
We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
