Tiritiri Chardonnay is part of Neudorf’s grower series and still made with the same love, care, and attention to detail as all their wines. Tiritiri Chardonnay comes from three sites within the Moutere Hills: including the Anderson’s vineyard and fruit from Neudorf’s own Rosie’s Block. Delicious drinking now and for the next 3-4 years, serve with roasted chicken, a combination made in heaven.
Smells
exciting toasty, hazelnut, grapefruit, and smoky notes emerge from the glass, giving way to nectarines and peach fruit characters.
Tastes
elegance and purity in the glass, with an alluring complexity and where the fruit is concentrated with a pure acid vein that is lively and invigorating. On top of that, there is added pizzaz from the toasty, smoky complexity of the French oak. Great persistence and drive on the long-detailed finish, a wine that is drinking perfectly this summer and over the next 2-3 years.
